In this month’s edition, the team has concentrated on the theme “There is an Impostor Among Us”. As photojournalists, this theme has encouraged us to extensively brainstorm and open up the multiple layers of meaning the theme consists. Each picture in our collection has varied perspectives and understandings of the theme, such as the “Imposter in My Cupboard” informing about the ongoing pandemic and how a deadly virus is among us, it’s most recognised motif being the face mask. This is the unfortunate impostor in our now rather redundant cupboards.
“Impostor in the Wedding at Cana” was our comical take on the theme, where we see what looks like a huge collection of various eccentric impostors , whereas “Yellow Sus” has taken the most literal meaning of the theme and is related to the now-famous game, Among Us.
But that’s only three of our pictures…The rest is for YOU to decode and interpret! Play the game, not only of Among Us, but of life too, and we hope you’ll know well who the crewmates and impostors are in your day-to-day! Think!
