Photojournalism – Unity in Immunity

Unity and Immunity. Here are two very interesting concepts that have been ever-integral to human life since the beginning of civilization. They are as important as they are tough they are to capture in a photograph. But alas, photography too is an art of storytelling. And so here we are, the Photojournalism team, ready to tell our stories of Unity in Immunity, two ideas that pervade time, space, subjects, and situations.

Stand in the centre of Suntec City Singapore, look straight up, and you will notice the unity of the truss beams that grant the roof its ‘Foolproof’ immunity. Look around, and you will realise the lights come together to ‘Dispel the Darkness’.

Observe the people trotting here and there. The secret to immunity against social disharmony truly is the fact that ‘United We Stand’.

But often, something needs to happen to cause immunity. Maybe that something will come from within like in a ‘Digital Detox’. Or perhaps we’ll rely on someone else to ‘Save The World’.

Take a sneak peek into the world outside of the human race. Animals know well that they must ‘Stay Together’ to survive, and stay immune to predators. And just like they protect their territories, the soldiers in our armies help to build our ‘ImmuNation’.

Beyond all this, the greatest disease is that of insecurity within. Spiritual immunity is one solution, and indeed a core part of being ‘In Security’.
