Photojournalism- Looking Back

Like every past edition, here we are again, albeit for the last time (sigh), with our creative juices drained and satisfaction exploding, after successfully curating a collection based on another amazing theme filled with ‘Nostalgia’. Without further adieu, let’s take ‘A Step Back In Time’ shall we?

The most viral (pun intended) event in our recent past has unfortunately been the Covid-19 pandemic. With our present being somewhat limited, we continue to reminisce about our ‘Good Ol’ Days’ in the past and dream about ‘Wanderlust’.

Surely you’d have been through conversations where your grandparents went on about their struggles in ‘Those Economic Times’. But imagine, when our successive generation comes into being, we’d be the ones telling them about how ‘Back In The Day’, ‘It Was All So Different’, when some ‘Chaos’ with no crowd control was all the refreshment we wanted.

Despite these uncertain times, we at the Casual Observer’s Photojournalism Team have immensely enjoyed and will forever value this chapter, in our personal photographic journeys, right from getting the ‘First Shot For CO’. And this theme gave us the perfect chance to start ‘Looking Back At Our Casual Experience’ 🙂

We thank the CO Heads – Samud and Kritika – for giving us this opportunity to share our thoughts and create our stories with the glass of our lens, and we wish the incoming Photojournalism team the very best!
