Life is full of shapes, symbols and colours – everywhere you look you can see something unique that distinguishes one place from another. This month’s theme, ‘Spirals’, had us looking in different directions – inwards, upwards, outwards – to see the swirls, curves and spirals everywhere. We found these circular designs interwoven through magnificent architecture. By looking ‘Up and Out’, we were able to admire the ‘ Volution ’ of everyday life.

Our creative process was fuelled by nature and the busy life outside in the city as well as at home. ‘A Delicious Swirl’ of frosting and the captivating colours of a ‘Floral Helix’ caught our eye. As photographers, we like to look for things that captivate us, something unique and beautiful, lying in plain sight. Take a step back and look at the allure of everything around you. Appreciate the spirals of your life!
