Preservation: the activity or process of keeping something valued alive, intact, free from damage or decay. Question is, what is worth preserving to you?
This month we have chosen to focus on the little things that exist all around us, the things we want to cherish and remember, things that are forgotten about and the things that bring us absolute joy. Whether it is being absolutely blinded by these fantastic light installations to celebrate “Chinese new year”, taking a walk in the “Green Horizons” dowsing yourself in nature’s greens, visiting your most treasured destination every weekend , “the shop at the end of the road” or simply looking through old news clippings to see if anyone you knew was ever on the news (mine weren’t sadly). No matter how small, how insignificant these matters might seem to others, they were important for us to conserve and protect, because you get to choose what is worth preserving.
So this month we encourage you to restore old memories, the ones that made you happy, the absolute cringy diary entries from middle school, or perhaps those autographs you got from all your classmates in your yearbook.
Until next time,
Keertana and Surabhi
