Photojournalism- Illuminate

by Prithika Venkatesh, Sarah Menezes and Surabhi Sunkad

Light transforms our world. From the warm glow of Street Lights that symbolize the heartbeat of the city, to the bright Spotlight on iconic structures. The Vibrant Hues of Singapore’s skyline serve as a testament to the diversity and energy of the city, while the Lunar Lights evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue. The Illuminated Sky is a canvas of endless possibilities, painting a picture of a world full of potential. However, amidst all the beauty, one image serves as a reminder of the destructive power of light, “Don’t play with fire”, urging us to be mindful of our actions and the impact they have on our world. This not only captures the magic of light, but also inspires us to reflect on its power and the responsibility we have to protect it. As we bask in the beauty of light, let us not forget the delicate balance between its wondrous effects and its dangerous consequences.
